InnerSelf's Daily Inspiration

March 22.23.24, 2024

The focus for today (and the weekend) is:

I ask myself, is this action producing
genuine feelings
of joy, love, and peace?

Today's inspiration was written by Jude Bijou:

Whenever you start to feel pushy, righteous, entitled, or suspect you are being self-centered, you can distinguish if a given action is driven by selfish motives or not, by pausing, consulting your intuition, and obeying whether it feels right in your heart.

Sometimes you need to honor what's best for yourself, your spirit, your health, your psyche, and that can feel selfish.

Learning to tap into your heart and speak and act from there is the surefire way to monitor who is driving your boat. Remember to ask yourself, does a given action produce genuine feelings of joy, love, and peace?

Today's inspiration was adapted from the InnerSelf.com article:

This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of joy, love, and peace (today and every day)

Comment from Marie: We can lie to others, but we can't lie to ourselves. Even when we are lying to ourselves, we know we are doing so. So be honest with yourself and pay attention to whether your actions are producing joy, love, and peace... or the lack thereof. You'll be much happier for it.

Our focus for today (and the weekend): I ask myself, is this action producing genuine feelings of joy, love, and peace?
