Honest communication is not only the quickest, most direct path to wholeness, it is also the least expensive. Without spending years in a therapist's office, you can get out of the morass of judgments, generalizations, shoulds, withholdings, assessments, and explanations about why you are the way you are.

I came across self-improvement mogul Tony Robbins not long after that conversation with my therapist, so I signed up for his “Unleash the Power Within” seminar in February 2013. It started me on the path to figuring out who I was, who I wanted to become, and what my purpose was.

Change is occurring peacefully and is bringing peace. It does not always come in a calm manner however, either on a personal or planetary level, but it is coming and quickly.

Leading a life filled with meaning and purpose can greatly contribute to your level of happiness. Meaning and purpose in life are foundational to our existence. Like the other existential concerns about death, responsibility, and isolation, they can have far ranging implications for how we conduct our lives.

Despite the abundance of self-help resources, many individuals continue to struggle with achieving their goals due to limiting beliefs. These beliefs often overshadow empowering thoughts, leading to frustration and a cycle of giving up. A shift in focus from simply affirming new beliefs to identifying and dissolving old ones may be key to unlocking true potential and happiness.

Two different people live in your mind: One is an engineer calculating odds and risks according to known science. The other is the voice of passion, intention, and spirit, prone to take leaps of faith beyond known science. Both are important.
